CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- In a partnership with the American Dance Asylum, Cedar Arts in Corning will be presenting Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 8:00pm. 

Flamenco is a professionalized art-form based on the various folkloric music traditions of southern Spain.  In a wider sense, the term refers to a variety of Spanish musical styles developed as early as the 19th century. Vivo Carlota Santana is one of America's premier Spanish dance troupes, with home bases in New York and North Carolina. According to Cedar Arts, over the course of their 31-year history, Flamenco Vivo has premiered more than 20 original works, offering commissions to outstanding Flamenco artists from the United States and Spain.
