CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. (WENY) – The Chemung County Transportation council is seeking public input as they look to solve their long-term transportation issues.

Since being updated in 2015, the plans calls for a strategic framework for transportation policy. This includes making investment decisions in public transportation, safety, roads and traffic, but also bike and pedestrian accommodations.

The councils director says “this plan will provide a framework to make smart, data-driven decisions about transportation policies and projects in Chemung County.”

The forum is set for October 8th at Downtown Grind from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
