Chemung Co. man facing drug charges after traffic stop
VAN ETTEN, N.Y. (WENY) – A Chemung County man was arrested after police say they found crystal meth during a traffic stop.
On Saturday, October 5, deputies with the Chemung County Sheriff's Office pulled over 36-year-old Robert McIntosh on State Route 224 in the Town of Van Etten.
Subsequent to the stop, deputies say McIntosh was found with over two ounces of crystal meth, as well as two ounces of marijuana. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, a felony.
Police say additional criminal charges are likely.
McIntosh was arraigned in Ashland Town Court and sent to the Chemung County Jail on $10,000 bail.
