BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) – Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. has been cited by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for several safety violations at its Big Flats location.

According to the report, the store – which is located on County Route 64 – was cited for violations such as blocked electric panels, obstructed exit routes and material being stored unsafely.

The report says inspectors reportedly found boxes and equipment blocking a storage room exit route, as well as piles of equipment and boxes blocked a circuit breaker. Additionally, inspectors say unsecured boxes were stacked to the ceiling, posing a risk of them falling onto someone.

OSHA reports the company, whose headquarters is based in Chesapeake, Virginia, is facing $208,368 worth of fines. Dollar Tree has 15 businesses days to respond to the findings.
