Civil case against Corning chiropractor facing sexual abuse charges dating back to 2016
BATH, N.Y. (WENY) - A civil case against a Corning chiropractor charged with sexual abuse unfolded in Steuben County court today.
Jeremiah Wright is accused of inappropriately touching one of his clients in June 2016. The alleged act supposedly took place in his office. The then 31-year-old was charged with third degree sexual abuse that August. The victim was 48 at the time the act reportedly happened.
Today in court, the victim was seen shaking in her seat as witnesses took the stand to testify. Wright was also in the courtroom today, as well as a jury who has been sitting in on the case since Monday. The case is expected to wrap up this week.
