ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) - Cold brew and local foods! The Chemung County Chamber of Commerce held their second annual "Relish Event" Thursday night.

The food, wine and brew event was held at the Federal Building in downtown Elmira. The goal of this special event is aimed towards promoting all of the local assets Chemung County and the Finger Lakes Region has to offer, including restaurants, wineries, breweries and much more. Some of the restaurants at the event were Tanino's, Teals Tavern, Hill Top Inn and several others.

"I think one of the things that makes it unusual is it's just a really large gathering and we have finger lakes wineries here, breweries and we also have restaurants. The idea of being that this is where we fit into the finger lakes wine country region. So we're all kind of in it together and it's really important to showcase all that we have to offer," says Kamala Keeley, President & Chief Executive Officer of the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets for the event were $50, and all of the money that was raised Thursday night will help support the county's tourism promotion efforts.
