NJ police probe motorcycle crash that killed 2
LIBERTY, N.J. (AP) - State police are investigating the cause of a New Jersey motorcycle crash that killed two eastern Pennsylvania residents.
Police say the man and woman were thrown from the motorcycle when it struck a guardrail on Route 46 East in Liberty Township at about 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
Trooper Alejandro Goez said Saturday that 64-year-old Stephen Congilio of Bath was the operator and 71-year-old A. Murphy Oleniacz of Easton was his passenger. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved. Police are trying to find out why the operator lost control of the motorcycle.
