ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) - The Elmira Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened around 8:30 this morning.

EPD says the driver hit a school bus at the corner of Madison Avenue and East Fifth Street before taking off. There were reportedly two children on the bus during the time of the crash.

Not too long after the accident took place, police were able to locate the car and the driver.

No injuries were reported. EPD did not say if the driver will face charges. The incident remains under investigation. No additional information is being released at this time.
