(WENY) – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo held a coronavirus briefing yesterday morning. In the briefing, he discussed where New York currently stands with coronavirus cases, deaths and hospitalizations.

The democrat says that although hospitalizations are down, he still has concerns. In the briefing, Cuomo said “The net change in hospitalizations is down. A tech intubations is down, which is very good news. The new cases walking in the door, the new covert cases, the number of new infections was also down a little bit, 831. It had been relatively flat at about 900 every day, which is not great news.”

He goes onto say that the number of deaths is still “terrifyingly high and it's still not dropping at the rate we would like to see it drop.” Cuomo adds that he wants New York to make decisions with the best information we have.
