Marsha joined WENY in December 2020.

Born and raised in the Bronx, Marsha is a native New Yorker. She graduated from Fordham University with a B.A. in Communications and received her M.S. in Broadcasting Journalism and Digital Media from Newhouse at Syracuse University in May 2020.

She is passionate about delivering news to the local community that is informing and may be resourceful to their lives.

Marsha covered the 2020 New Hampshire primary for a local news station in Syracuse. This included Senator Bernie Sanders’ victory rally, as well as Joe Biden’s and President Donald Trump’s presidential election rallies. Marsha had the opportunity to interview actor Kevin Costner while in New Hampshire also. During summer 2020 she was a Nexstar News Associate in Washington, D.C. covering several national stories related to the COVID-19 pandemic for a local station in Amarillo, TX.

Marsha enjoys giving back to the community and volunteered for the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in NYC for over a year.  She also loves to read and travel, especially to the Caribbean Island of St. Lucia to visit family. Marsha is excited to still be in New York living her dream as a journalist in the Twin Tiers while learning more about her new home and engaging with her audience.
