April 1st may be April Fools Day, but it is also the start of the trout season.

While highs in early April should be in the low 50s, highs will struggle to get to 40. In addition to the cooler temperatures, snow showers will be off and on throughout the afternoon.

While the Twin Tiers had some widespread snow pass through early this morning, expect mainly dry conditions. The Finger Lakes region is the most likely to see more accumulations, between 1-2". 

Cooler temperatures will remain through Friday, but a warmup is expected for the weekend!
