Bath, NY (WENY)-- The Steuben County Fair is returning for its 202nd year.

The fair was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite this, people flocked to the fair on its opening day. There are activities planned for each day of the fair, as well as entertainment for the whole family.

Some of these include pig races, rides, food, livestock shows and exhibits on farming.

Bob Hammond, Owner of B&B Repairs and a vendor at the fair for over ten years, says it is nice to see people coming back, after having it canceled.

"Last year was a disappointment for everybody. I'm glad to see people coming out again." He said, "It's going to take a little bit because everybody's just a little bit insecure, but by midweek, I think everything will change."

The fair last the rest of week, ending on Sunday. For a full details on the events taking place, you can go to the Steuben County Fair's website.
