(WENY) -- The criminal investigation into the actions of former Governor Andrew Cuomo seems to be picking up.

According to WRGB, it was reported Monday night that subpoenas have been issued after allegations were made by the woman formerly known as "Executive Assistant Number One" to the Governor, Brittany Commisso.

She says Cuomo groped her in the executive mansion by touching her buttocks and reaching under her skirt to touch her breast.

The former Governor's attorneys responded to the claim saying it never happened.

Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple says Commisso met with investigators for a second time Monday for a formal interview after filing a report.

The District Attorney's office made a statement saying they will not be making public comments about the case at the moment as the inquiry remains open and pending.
