Marc Cenedella Announces Candidacy for Congress in NY-23 Special Election

(WENY) - Republican business owner and Western New York native Marc Cenedella announced his candidacy for Congress in the special election for New York's 23rd congressional district.
The special election follows the resignation of 6-term incumbent Rep. Tom Reed.
"I am proud to announce my candidacy to represent New York's southern tier in Congress. I was born in Fredonia and raised on the conservative values of hard work, individual liberty, and family. Southern tier conservatives deserve a voice in Washington," said Marc on his decision to enter the race.
He founded Ladders, Incorporated, a company that connects employers with job seekers across the country and provides career guidance.
He says his focus is representing conservative values in the southern tier and that includes less spending, limited government, and lower taxes.
Candidates for the special election (on a date to be announced) will be selected by the 11 party chairs of the current 23rd district. The primary election for the newly drawn 23rd congressional district will then take place in August.
