A cold front will approach the Twin Tiers Thursday afternoon with showers and thunderstorms likely.  The Storm Prediction Center has increased our risk of severe thunderstorms to a 3 out of 5 or an enhanced risk.  There's the potential for damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, hail and isolated tornadoes.  The threat for severe weather will increase after 3 pm and will continue into the early evening.  Less humid conditions will follow on Friday with temperatures in the lower 80s.  Stay tuned for updates on our severe weather situation.
