ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Ithaca Police Department reported that a man has been arraigned on charges, stemming from an attempted robbery at the Dandy Mini Mart, located at 805 W. Buffalo Street in Ithaca on December 30th. 

According to Ithaca Police, 18-year-old Sean J. Reese came into the store with an AR Style Rifle and pointed it at the cashier.  

The evidence from this attempted robbery was located nearby and included a .22 Caliber Rifle with a pistol grip and collapsible stock. Ithaca Police said the rifle also contained a removable magazine, loaded with .22 Caliber Ammunition.  

Reese was arraigned on the charges of Attempted Robbery 1st Degree, a class C felony, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, a class D felony.  

Ithaca Police said Reese was arraigned in Ithaca City Court and was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail on $100,000 Cash Bail or 10% of $100,000 Assured Bond. 

Ithaca Police said Reese is scheduled to return to court on January 4th.
