High Pressure will help keep the weather on the dry side through Martin Luther King Junior Day.  Sunday will feature decreasing clouds, as the day progresses. We are expecting as mostly cloudy morning to turn into an afternoon with plentiful sunshine. High temperatures will be around average for this time of the year (nearing freezing).  Monday will be the opposite, as a mostly sunny morning could change into mostly cloudy conditions by late afternoon.

Wet weather returns on Tuesday, as a low pressure cuts through the Great Lakes. The onset of this system will bring a freezing rain into our area. Due to the lack of cold air supply, precipitation will quickly transition into rain. Although, the presence of dry air will keep precipitation light. Consequently, rainfall and ice totals should remain less than 1/10 of an inch.
