Bath Man Pleads Guilty to Meth Possession, Faces 5 to 40 Years in Prison

BATH, N.Y. (WENY) - A Bath man pled guilty to drug possession charges stemming from an incident during the summer of 2022 in which investigators found meth and cash at his home.
According to the U.S. Attorney's office, 25 year old Gerald Barclay of Bath pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute five grams or more.
Officials say that in August 2022, New York State Police executed a search warrant at Barclay's home, seizing drug packaging materials, digital scales, and approximately $1,900.
Outside the home, investigators also found approximately 200 grams of meth.
The charge carries a sentence anywhere from 5 to 40 years in prison and a $5 million fine.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 27th.
