BIG FLATS, NY (WENY) -- The Harris Hill pool will open for the 2023 season starting Saturday, June 17th.. 

The county is also offering swimming lessons, for both county and non-county residents. Sign ups will open beginning on June 1st. Children must be at least six years of age by June 26th to participate. Registration is required, as space is limited.

Swimming lessons will be offered as a six-week session, with the following choices:

Mondays and Wednesdays, June 26th - August 2nd, 11:10AM - 11:40AM

Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 27th - August 3rd, 11:10AM - 11:40AM

Swimming lessons for a season pass holder are $25 (per child) for county residents, and $35 for non-residents. For non-season pass holders, swimming lessons are $60 for Chemung county residents, and $75 for non-residents.

Season passes are $40 per person or $80 per family for Chemung County residents, or $55 per person or $95 per family for non-residents. A family pass is good for two adults and up to four children.
