UPDATE 3:15 PM: Authorities have cancelled the missing vulnerable adult alert for Alfred Lawrence.

TYRONE, N.Y. (WENY) - New York State Police is searching for a missing vulnerable adult from Schuyler County, 84-year-old Alfred Lawrence of Tyrone.

On Monday at around 3:00 PM. police say Lawrence left his home on Hallock Road in Tyrone.

Alfred is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue plaid shirt, and a hat. Police say Lawrence was on his way to his niece's home in Penn Yan. He is driving a Gray 2018 Chevy Equinox with the New York License plate AFF-9695.

Police say his vehicle was last seen near Lake Avenue in the city of Rochester at 8:00 AM on Monday.
