One person injured after fire in West Burlington Twp.
WEST BURLINGTON TWP, PA (WENY) -- One person is in the hospital and two dogs are dead after fire crews responded to a structure fire on Bailey Corners Road in West Burlington Township at about 10 a.m. on Monday, July 10th. According to emergency officials on the scene, smoke inhalation was the reason why the victim was sent to the hospital.
"The local ambulance was returning from a call and saw smoke coming from the structure. [It went] to check the structure and found that the occupant was still in the house. They did get themselves out of the house, and then called in the house fire," said Jeff Rosenheck, emergency management coordinator for Bradford County.
Bradford County Emergency Management was on the scene helping to coordinate efforts to put out the fire.
