ERWIN, N.Y. (WENY) - Authorities arrested a Steuben County woman for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in property.

The Steuben County Sheriff's Office says that 40-year-old Laurel Carpenter of Painted Post allegedly used another person's bank card without permission and stole more than three thousand dollars worth of property in Erwin.

Carpenter was charged with Grand Larceny.

She was arraigned in court and brought to the Steuben County Jail.
