STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. (WENY) - Two bridges in Steuben County will be closed for construction work beginning later in August.

According to the Steuben County's Department of Public Works, two bridges will be closed for construction work.

The County Route 4 Bridge in Campbell will be closed from 7 AM until 4 PM August 21st through the 22nd weather permitting. The bridge crosses the Cohocton River located between State Route 415 and Curtis Cooper's Road and will be blacktopped.

The county says there will be no on site detour.

Meanwhile, the Catatunk Road Bridge in Canisteo will be closed beginning August 21st for about ten weeks. The bridge crosses Mud Hollow Creek, between Store and Roosa roads and will be removed and replaced with a new concrete box culvert.

The county says there will be an on-site detour.
