ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- Chemung County Meals on Wheels, in partnership with the Department of Aging and Long Term Care, are hosting a special event for seniors on Friday.

The two organizations are holding a Grandparents Day Celebration on September 8th, from 11:30AM to 2:00PM, the Meals on Wheels Event Center at 409 William Street in Elmira.

Space is limited, so interested seniors are required to RSVP. The event is open to all Chemung County residents age 60 and up, and includes a free lunch and treats.
