ITHACA, NY (WENY) -- Ithaca College will conduct a test of its Outdoor Warning System sirens on Thursday, is is alerting the campus community.

The test is a regular test of its system, and will take place during the noon hour on September 21st. Local residents near the college campus may hear a siren tone and loudspeaker message. The message will state this is just a test.

A test of the IC Alert Emergency Notification System will take place at the same time. The system uses voice, email, and text to deliver emergency messages to members of the Ithaca College community.
