DRYDEN, N.Y. (WENY) -- New York State Police say one woman was killed and two people were injured after a car hit a tree on West Malloryville Road in the town of Dryden.  According to the Pennsylvania State Police, police, EMS, and fire were dispatched at 9:45 A.M. on October 7th for this incident.

Police identified the victim as Kimberly L. Anthony of Rochester, N.Y.  They said she was sitting in the back seat, and was pronounced dead on the scene. Troopers said the driver, Cora-Su Brooks, and front seat passenger Rochelle Landon were transported to Upstate Medical University Hospital for treatment.

Police also say a preliminary investigation shows the car was traveling northbound on Fall Creek Road where it exited the roadway, and then continued north where it hit the tree on West Malloryville Road.

The investigation is still ongoing.
