Snow Tapers Wednesday
A few snow showers will be possible, especially earlier in the day. You will need extra time this morning as there could be some slick spots and you will need to dust the snow off your car! Mostly cloudy skies will stick around Wednesday with breezy conditions out of the northwest. Highs will be chilly in the mid-30s. Overnight, mostly cloudy skies will continue with lows in the mid-20s. A warm front will lift through the region Thursday, resulting in scattered snow showers and highs in the upper-30s and lower-40s. The warming trend will continue into the end of the week with temperatures around 50 on Friday under partly sunny skies. Friday and Saturday are looking dry with clouds increasing Saturday. Temperatures will continue to rise into the mid-50s Saturday followed by the mid to upper-50s Sunday. A strong low pressure system will move in Sunday with the potential for heavy rain and gusty winds. Some areas have the potential of picking up over 1" of rain. Rain will begin to taper off Monday as highs fall into the mid and low-40s early next week. Drier conditions look to return on Tuesday.
