STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. (WENY) -- A 51-year-old woman was arrested on Monday, June 3rd after her dogs allegedly ran loose and attacked livestock in Caton. According to the Steuben County Sheriff's Office, Christine Shepherd has been charged with criminal contempt, reckless endangerment of property and criminal mischief.

Police say they arrested Shepherd after investigating reports of two dogs running at large attacking livestock. According to police, Shepherd was under a court order directing her to secure her dogs. 

She has since been arraigned and released.
