2 Ithaca women, and 1 woman from Hanover Township detained over Montage Mountain fight
SCRANTON, P.A. (WENY) – Scranton Police Department reported three people, including two women from Ithaca, were taken into custody after a fight broke out Friday night at Montage Mountain's first 'adult swim' party of the summer.
According to the Scranton Police Dept., a team was already present during the event to serve the waterpark.
Multiple people were in the middle of an altercation in the parking lot and left four people injured.
Scranton police officers detained multiple suspects, but had to call for additional help for crowd control.
Two people got lacerations from a knife, and one weapon was recovered at the scene.
Nyree Keyna Tawanda Pemberton, 25, and Divine Naysa Nari Taylor, 22, both from Ithaca, were charged with Assault, Disorderly Conduct and Harassment.
Kwesi Elias Green, 29, from Hanover Township, will be charged by summons for Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct and Harrasment.
Pemberton and Taylor are being held at Lackawanna County Prison.
The investigation remains active.
