Friday marks day 5 of our current heat wave with temperatures into the 90s each day this week.  The hot and humid conditions will persist through the weekend with temperatures Saturday expected to rise into the low and mid 90s with lower 90s on Sunday.  The National Weather has also extended the heat advisory into Sunday evening.  A cold front Sunday night will finally break the heat and humidity with high temperatures on Monday expected to drop back into the lower 80s for highs.
