BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Chemung County Sheriff's Office has put out a warning that some traffic lights in the Town of Big Flats aren't working. If you encounter a traffic light that isn't working, you must treat it as a four-way stop.

If you arrive at an intersection without a working light at the same time as another car, the car on the right goes first. And police are asking everyone to remember to always yield to pedestrians.
