CORNING, NY (WENY) -- After more than a decade on Market Street, a landmark store in Corning has closed.

The Tommy Hilfiger store at 47 East Market Street closed its doors last week, after nearly 13 years in business. It first opened in 2011.

Over the years, Elmira native and designer Tommy Hilfiger hosted several events at the store, from book signings to meet and greet events. Most recently, he visited to celebrate the store's 10th anniversary in 2021.

No word on any future plans for the property. According to Steuben County property tax records, the building is owned by BY Properties LLC.
