WARREN TOWNSHIP, PA. (WENY) -- Pennsylvania State Police say a 65-year-old man was taken to Robert Packer Hospital with severe injuries after he hit an oncoming car while driving his motorcycle Friday.

According to information State Police released Wednesday, Robert Bromley was riding his motorcycle north on Laraysville Road shortly before 4 p.m.

Bromley left his lane following a curve in the road. While he was in the wrong lane, Bromley was hit by an oncoming Jeep. When the vehicles collided, Bromley was thrown from his motorcycle.

Police say he was airlifted to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. No word on Bromley's status as of publishing.

Both vehicles were severely damaged and undrivable after the crash. The driver of the Jeep was not injured.
