OWEGO, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Tioga County Sheriff's Office announced that they seized drugs, weapons and cash from an Owego home which was discovered while law enforcement were searching for a person with a warrant out for their arrest.

Officials say they arrived at a residence on Sawyer Rd. in the morning of June 4 while they were trying to locate 42-year-old Samantha McKibbin, who had a warrant out for her arrest for violating probation over her conviction on an attempted arson charge.

While Sheriff's Deputies were in the home, they say they saw drugs inside. Law enforcement obtained a warrant to search the home, finding almost 5 ounces of methamphetamine, packaging materials and scales, a sawed off shotgun and $551 in cash.

The Sheriff's Office charged McKibbin with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Sell, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and two charges of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia.

McKibbin is in the Tioga County Jail without bail. Another man who lives at the home, 47-year-old Dan Perry, was also charged with the drug crimes. He was arrested by the Broome County Sheriff's Office, and is in the Tioga County Jail without bail.

Another woman connected to the search warrant, 35-year-old Kassandra Jordan, was also arrested on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Sell and two charges of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia. She was released on her own recognizance, and is scheduled to appear in Owego Town Court Tuesday.
