ARLINGTON, T.X. (WENY) - Former Elmira Pioneer, Jordan Westburg is headed to the MLB All-Star Game.

Westburg was selected on Tuesday as a replacement for Rafael Devers on the American League team.

Westburg, who played for the Pioneers in 2018, is currently an infielder for the Baltimore Orioles. He is currently hitting .281 with 90 hits, 14 home runs, 49 RBI's, and an OPS of .834. Westburg has also hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games.

Jordan has played a major role on the Orioles this season as they sit in first place in the AL East Division at 57-33 overall.

Baltimore is currently in a series with the Chicago Cubs, then they host the New York Yankees for three games before the All-Star game on Tuesday, July 16th at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
