UPDATE 4:00 PM (8/29): One person was injured due to the fire that ignited at a home Monday on Mattison Lane in Catlin. According to the Tompkins Corners Fire Department, they were taken to a local hospital to receive treatment. No word from officials on how that person is doing now.

Crews say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

CATLIN, NY (WENY) -- Multiple fire departments responded to a fire Monday afternoon on Mattison Lane in the town of Catlin.

According to a reporter on scene, an ambulance was seen leaving with its lights on.

A large cloud of smoke could be seen about three-quarters of a mile away. Mattison Lane was blocked off entirely and traffic couldn't get through.

There's no word yet on the cause of the fire or if anyone was hurt.
