ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- There's still one more chance to have fun at Eldridge Park in Elmira this weekend before the season ends. Volunteers with Eldridge Park are hosting the first annual Harvest Weekend from October 11th through the 13th.

"We've decided to just wrap it up into one big weekend instead of the two weekends before Halloween. We're going to start with Payton Clark on Friday night coming from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. [for] a free concert in the Dance Hall," said the General Manager of Eldridge Park, Trisha Elwood.

On Saturday, there will be a craft show from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Dance Hall with about 14 vendors. On Sunday, it will be 'Kids Day' with pumpkin and face painting.

"We have 75 pumpkins for the kids to paint for free and take home. We also have a face painter from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. which is free of charge," said Elwood.

The mini-golf course and carousel will be open on Friday from 5-8 p.m., Saturday from 2-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Elwood said she hopes people can come to take one more ride on the Merry-Go-Round/play one last game on the mini-golf course before the amusement park closes for the year.

"It's been a great 100th anniversary of the amusement park itself. It's been a great season for us. We're hoping to end with a big bang," said Elwood.

For kids 5-10 years old, it will cost $8 per person. For people 11 years and older, it will cost $10 per person. If you'd like to ride the carousel, it'll cost $1.50.

For people wondering about the annual Eldridge Park ornament, Elwood said she hopes they'll arrive by the end of the month. Eldridge Park will announce soon when the ornaments arrive and where you can buy them.
