ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- This Sunday, Barb's Soup's On Cafe in Elmira will be hosting a fundraiser benefiting local animal shelters and their ability to vaccinate and spay or neuter cats.

From 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. on October 20th, anyone can come into the cafe and purchase a breakfast meal for $10. The funds raised from the meal will go to both the Elmira Animal Shelter and Southern Tier Animal Control.

In addition to the food, raffles and door prizes will also be given away to help raise more funds. Donations are also currently being accepted at Barb's Soup's On Cafe until the event wraps up on Sunday. The cafe is located at 311 College Avenue in Elmira.
