Man sent to hospital after neighbors allegedly exchange gunfire in New Albany
NEW ALBANY, Pa (WENY) -- A man was taken to the hospital in serious condition after police say neighbors exchanged gun fire in Bradford County earlier this month.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, two neighbors got into a dispute on Morris Road that ended in gunshots on November 6th. They say a 75-year-old man shot twice at his neighbor, and the neighbor returned several shots. Police say the 75 year old was shot in the abdomen and arm, and taken to Robert Packer in serious condition.
police say they arrested 25-year-old Isaiah Covert from New Albany after this incident. Covert was charged with aggravated assault of a deadly weapon, and his bail was denied.
