If you are traveling to your Thanksgiving destination today, partly cloudy skies are expected with highs in the mid-40s. Clouds will be increasing tonight as low pressure approaches. After midnight, we should see snow moving in and become a wintry mix during the daytime hours on Thanksgiving. Temperatures will be in the lower-40s, but slightly cooler in the higher elevation and that is why we some places will see rain, while others see snow. As for snowfall accumulation, 1-3" will be possible with localized higher amounts. The precipitation will exit the area into Thursday night as the system is fast-moving. We will end out the week with lake-enhanced snow showers on Friday and a high in the upper-30s. Snow showers will be possible into the weekend with highs in the mid-30s. Low temperatures over the weekend will hover around the 20 degree mark. Snow showers will continue to be possible early next week along with temperatures in the mid-30s.
