A cold start to the day is expected with highs reaching into the low to mid-30s by the afternoon. Partly sunny skies are expected during the daytime hours. Mostly clear skies move in tonight with lows in the upper-teens. Snow showers will be possible for Monday and Tuesday as a few lake effect bands move into Central New York. Temperatures remain in the mid-30s with lows in the lower-20s at night. We will see a better chance for snowfall accumulation looking ahead to Wednesday as a clipper system is expected to move through the region. Highs will be in the mid-30s on Wednesday and Thursday, but drop into the mid to upper-20s for Friday and Saturday. Behind the system, lake effect snow showers will be possible for Friday. Our next system looks to enter the forecast for Saturday with more snow on the way.
