NEW YORK (WENY) -- Former Steuben County Assistant District Attorney James Miller has been sentenced to 20 months in prison after pleading to Possession of Child Pornography. Corning native James Miller, 66, initially pleaded guilty back in May.

According to federal prosecutors, in May 2021, New York State Police got a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Miller's email account uploaded suspect images of child porn. Later that month a search warrant was executed at Miller's home, and a forensic review found roughly 100 images of child porn on seized devices.
