The day starts out calm as temperatures climb to near freezing in the area. Snow kicks off in the early evening and continues into the overnight hours. Showers continue into Sunday morning, where a freezing drizzle remains possible after much of the snow calms down. Total accumulations for the Twin Tiers range from 2 to 5 inches.
Temperatures stay close to 30 for Sunday, and similar temps follow into Monday. Another low pressure system is set to make its way into the region late Tuesday, bringing more snow during the middle of the week.
Snow wraps up on Thursday, and temperatures climb into the mid 30s. Towards the end of the week, conditions become more calm, but temperatures could tumble below 30.
