BRADFORD CO., (WENY) -- The Bradford County District Attorney announced on Friday, Feb. 14th that a 71-year-old from Granville Summit will most likely spend the rest of his life behind bars after being sentenced on charges connected to sexually assaulting a 7-year-old. Richard Gilliland Sr. was sentenced to a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 32 years in prison after on charges of f Indecent Assault and Corruption of Minors and more. 

According to the Bradford County DA the investigation into Gilliland began after a 7-year-old reported inappropriate touching. Given Gilliland's age, the D.A. says it is unlikely he will ever be released from state prison.
