Fair skies and slight warmer Monday

Temperatures will not be as cold as they were yesterday to kick off the week. Fair skies and highs in the mid 30s are expected Monday. Mostly clear skies tonight with lows in the mid 20s are expected. Temperatures will be on a warming trend into the mid week with highs in the low to mid 50s for Tuesday and Wednesday. Clouds will be increasing Tuesday with the slight chance for a rain shower into the afternoon. The best chance for showers this week will be on Wednesday as low pressure swings through the area. Rainfall amounts could exceed 1/2". We will see rain showers continuing into Thursday morning before a break in the precipitation. Colder air pushes in from behind the system and any precipitation on Thursday afternoon and evening will be mixed rain and snow showers. Drier conditions will end out the week with temperatures in the low to mid 40s. Temperatures remain around 40 into the upcoming weekend. Fair skies and the chance for snow showers is likely on Saturday. Partly sunny skies and a slight chance for a flurry on Sunday.
