Cooler air settles back in this evening with lows sinking into the mid 20s, but warmer conditions take over again later on Tuesday.

Highs jump into the 50s as cloudy skies take over for the first of several days. Low pressure will slide into the region early Wednesday morning, making for a day filled with mostly rainy conditions and fairly high rainfall rates. Rain totals are expected to reach the range of 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, with localized higher amounts of up to 1 inch in the Northern Tier.

Cooler air takes over on Thursday, allowing for rain to change to light snow as lows dip into the 20s again. 40 degree weather sticks around on Friday but snow could return on Saturday. Temperatures likely stay close to average this weekend.
