UPDATE 4/9; The Big Flats Town Board approved a resolution Wednesday night creating a public hearing on the proposed West Hill Solar Project. The meeting will take place on April 23rd at 4:30 p.m. at the Big Flats Town Hall.

BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Planning board members weighed site plans for the proposed West Hill solar project in the Town of Big Flats Tuesday night.

Carson Power is the developer of this site.  It sits on West Hill Road, with Crest Drive as the access point.  On Tuesday, the planning board approved the site plans.

The project proposal will move to the town board next, where the town will weigh a special use permit.  The next big flats town board meeting is April 30th at 4:30 p.m.
