Mark your calendars for an afternoon of fun and community support at the 7th Annual "Bowl for Our Children" fundraiser! The event will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 1PM to 4PM at Dixie Lanes located at 1154 Broadway St., Elmira. The event promises a lively atmosphere filled with bowling, raffles, silent auctions, prizes, and delicious food and drinks available for purchase. Best of all, every dollar raised will go directly to benefit the Chemung County Child Advocacy Center (CAC), an organization dedicated to supporting children and families in need.

Participants can sign up for bowling at a cost of $100 per four-person team, which includes three games of bowling, shoe rentals, and a free raffle ticket. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to secure your spot early!

In addition to bowling, attendees can enjoy:
- 50/50 raffles
- Silent auctions featuring exciting prizes such as autographed sports memorabilia, gift cards, and themed baskets
- A Grand Prize raffle for a 36-inch Blackstone grill with a cover and accessories
- Prizes for the best bowling team

If you’re unable to attend but would like to contribute, donations are welcome and can be coordinated directly with the CAC. Since its founding in 2007, the Chemung County Child Advocacy Center has been a vital resource for children and families experiencing trauma. The CAC provides a range of services, including forensic interviews, forensic medical exams, mental health counseling, parenting groups, and assistance in connecting families with essential resources.

The need for the CAC’s services has grown significantly in recent years. In 2020, the center served 269 children, a number that increased to 452 in 2021. By 2024, the CAC had supported an astounding 732 youth, highlighting the critical demand for their work in the community.
