A few thunderstorms are expected later this afternoon as temperatures climb into the upper 70s thanks to a vast inflow of warm, southern air. Thunderstorm forecasts indicate some fairly strong cells could push through later today, opening up the possibility for damaging winds and small hail. Rain likely gets started in the late morning with stronger cells moving in closer to the early evening.

A cold front will make for a chilly Easter Sunday morning, but highs should get close to 60 later in the day. The warming trend continues into Monday where highs rebound to the mid 60s despite the chance of showers.

Consistent 70+ degree weather follows us into the middle and latter portions of the next work week, and plenty of sunshine for both Wednesday and Thursday. A few light showers are possible on Friday.
