(WENY) -- Tioga Downs Casino in Nichols will kick off the 2025 racing season next month.

Live harness racing returns to the track for its 20th season at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 3rd, which is the same day as the Kentucky Derby. There will be 61 live races throughout the season as well as promotions, including bulldog, basset hound, and wiener dog races, giveaways, contests, and more.

Tioga Downs called harness racing at the track some of the most competitive drivers and horses in the Empire State, involving some of the best drivers and horses in the world of harness racing.
